Recommendations offered by the experts during the two conferences organized by BBV Foundation in 1996 and 1998 on Training Healthcare Professionals. Among them is the development of precise educational models that emphasize prevention, specialization and the swift integration of scientific and technological advances; the promotion of continuous training of professionals; promotion of a more realistic preparation of researchers and teachers in universities, and stronger coordination between hospitals and schools of medicine.
